MENTOR
Joining the MOSTE organization as
a mentor provides the opportunity to make a meaningful
contribution to your community. It is uniquely rewarding
to play a role in a young woman’s development and
to be part of her support system. You will be a teacher,
but you will also learn much from these dynamic young
ladies. Mentors are constantly amazed by what they learn
from their mentees.
Mentors devote, on average, five to ten hours per month to the young women they
mentor. MOSTE mentors include teachers, lawyers, healthcare providers, university
faculty, scientists, marketing directors, accountants, and other business executives.
These remarkable women come from companies and organizations such as the Black
Women Lawyers Bar Association, the Latina Lawyers Bar Association, City National
Bank, Northrop-Grumman, Inc., Toyota Motor Sales, ARCO, Paramount Pictures, and
the California Attorney General’s office, to name a few.
