MOSTE PUBLIC SPEAKING CLUB

 

5 MONTHLY SATURDAY WORKSHOPS ( 10:30am-12:30pm)

LEARN TO:

 

  • Speak calmly and with confidence when speaking to an audience
  • Use exercises for breathing, relaxation and improved focus
  • Organize and present ideas logically and convincingly
  • Understand non-verbal messages you send
  • Eliminate “uh”, “um”, “like”, and “you know"

 

Facilitator: Stacy Geck is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Center for Management Communication in the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. Her specialties include organizational communication effectiveness, intercultural communication, and managerial communication (written, oral and interpersonal).

 

Pre-registration required. Register by December 28, 2007. Registration forms will be available at the Orientation on Saturday, October 13 and at each in-school workshop in October, November and December.
